Privacy Policy

By federal law, you must have a privacy policy on your website if you're collecting any sort of 'personal data' from your visitors.

I'm not an attorney, and this is not legal advice, but if you're using Google Analytics, collecting emails (opt-ins), or making sales, you need to have one to comply with the law.

The Terms + Conditions of your site governs the use of your website. It's a contract between you and your website visitors and protects you from copycats and so much more. While you're not required by law to have one, it's still an excellent idea to protect yourself and your business.

I use Creative Law Shop for my contracts, privacy policy, and terms + conditions. They're made for creatives by a real attorney (Paige! from the audio lesson below!), and they're plug-and-play templates that are super simple to use and help cover you and your business.
